Now I am going to sound like my Grandmother.\u00a0 Grandmother Annie Brown, God rest her soul, a steele magnolia times ten.<\/p>\n

I am sick of seeing people out in public in their pajamas.\u00a0 Sick of it.\u00a0 Sick of seeing butt crack, boobs sprawled\u00a0splat\u00a0for lack of underwire or any underwear for that matter, and\u00a0Cheeto induced gutoverhang hanging out all\u00a0over the sides.\u00a0 And this is just on the women. What happened to self pride.\u00a0 No, do not blame it on the economy.\u00a0 This was happening way before people lost jobs and paychecks.<\/p>\n

I actually just witnessed someone asking for a job application at a local coffee shop wearing this ensemble:<\/p>\n

Tank top with bra ( but barely)<\/p>\n

Flannel Pajama pants hung down below the belly with snippet of belly showing and snippet of top thong<\/p>\n

(whale tail I think it’s called?) streached beyond it’s reach-showing just over the crest of a tattooed lower back.<\/p>\n

Belly should not have been showing. Or for that matter-the polka dotted streched whale tail.<\/p>\n

Flip-Flops.<\/p>\n

Dirty feet and flips very flopped.<\/p>\n

Hair not brushed.<\/p>\n

No make-up.<\/p>\n

This person was early 20’s.\u00a0 Did she really think she would get hired showing up like that?\u00a0 Have I missed something in the cool factor quota these days?<\/p>\n

AND then:\u00a0 At Staples just this week on two occaisions-there in the copy center-in the self copy section-were three people in their pajamas.\u00a0 Printing resume’s, hair all dishelved, stains on said pj’s and absolulty no concern whatsoever.\u00a0 These people were no in their early 20’s.\u00a0 Road hard and hit up-mid 40’s and 50’s.\u00a0 Two women one man.\u00a0 At least he had shoes on.<\/p>\n

It is one thing to see a sleepy toddler in the grocery-still in pajamas-exhausted mom just trying to get through the ailes and get home.\u00a0 It is one thing to stay in your pajamas all day-and stay home.\u00a0 It is another thing all together to think wearing the pajamas you have been wearing all week should be worn just one more day-and in public.<\/p>\n

Am I supposed to feel sympathetic for these people.\u00a0 Feel sorry for them-so down on their luck that the only thing they have the capacity to do is wear dirty pajamas-and hope luck will change?<\/p>\n
